Our Story
Topographia Design began as an exploration to merge my love of art and graphic design with my interest in maps and representations of landscapes. My work is influenced by my background in studio art, landscape architecture, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and cartography.
I’ve hiked or skied through many of the places I’ve mapped, and I also map places I hope to experience in the future. With each design I create, I deepen my understanding of the landscapes that make up our magnificent planet Earth.
The maps I rely on during a day hike or on a backcountry trip stay tucked away in a drawer or spread out on the floor as we plan our our next adventure. But these prints I create are instead meant to be displayed as an artful reminder or inspiration to connect with personally meaningful places each time you see them.
Enjoy,
